Crivelli Ruché di Castagnole Monferrato 2014
Rediscovered and appreciated for the high quality of its fragrances, is rightly called "The Prince of Monferrato." The colour is ruby red, with pronounced purple shades; when young it has violet reflections, transforming through the time in lively orange reflections. Bouquet is elegant , persistent, intense, complex, lightly aromatic. It is difficult to discern the fabulous perceptions that this wine generates inebriating the nostrils. Meanwhile emerges a pleasant aromatic perception, given by the fusion of ripe cherry and apricot. We can notice a light note of hazelnut, canned fruit, peach, banana, dried fruit, blackberry, wild fruits. Excellent with game, medium aged cheeses. It is also appreciated as wine for meditation over 10 years Elegant, soft ,velvety, medium-full bodied, well balanced. Very good intensity and persistence, pleasant taste, armonic. Relative low acidity, it's alcohol content and the balanced structure make the Ruchè a wine easy to drink and soft, enriching with a good quantity of glycerine. The dominant feature is the perception of a caressing aftertaste, aromatic nuances composed of velvety notes of apricot and cherry, quince and honey syrup.
