Mönchhof Ürziger Würzgarten Riesling Kabinett 2014
Founded in 1177 by monks, the Mönchhof (monk's house) was acquired by the Eymael family in 1804 from Napoleon. Today, Robert Eymael leads the estate recognized for its high quality from the entry level Estate Riesling to the finest single vineyard wines. Great to enjoy on its own, but also great with salads and spicy dishes or fusion cuisine.
Wine SpectatorShows touches of opulence to the peach, ripe apple and baked pear flavors, accented by hints of glazed apricot. Very juicy on the finish, with rich, spicy notes. Drink now through 2020. 800 cases made.
