Wine AdvocateAnother former Barrel 27 wine is the 2013 High on the Hog, which is a Grenache-dominated blend (15% Syrah) that saw a quarter whole clusters and 22 months in 30% new French oak. Medium to full-bodied, textured and nicely balanced, it has outstanding complexity in its sweet cherry, red plum, spice and potpourri-scented bouquet. It will drink well for 5-6 years.
