Tarapaca Gran Reserva Etiqueta Negra Cabernet Sauvignon 2014
The Gran Reserva Blue Label is vinified only in the years that the crops have been considered extraordinary. The grape for the production of this wine has its origin in five different lots from the Maipo Valley. The 42% of Cabernet Franc comes from the Hacienda Chada. The 27% of Cabernet Sauvignon of the final mixture originates in the vineyard called Esmeralda, of decomposed granite soil. From this same vineyard is obtained the 7% of component Syrah. However 5% of Cabernet Sauvignon is of the lot called El Mirador, where soils are stony francs. The last component that gives origin to this exceptional wine, it is a 19 % of Syrah clon 300, planted by the river, where this Syrah reaches its ideal maturity in early May.
