We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.

Once again, Stephan Aviron is sourcing his Julienas from two well established growers in the appellation of Julienas. In both plots vines average over 50 years. Soils are also consistent and are made up primarily of granite stones, sand and chalk.

Wine EnthusiastProduced from two separate vineyards, the wine has all the concentration of old vines. It has tannins and dark fruits, blackberry and black plum. This is a finely structured cru wine that will need to age. Drink from 2020.

Wine AdvocateThe 2015 Julienas has a rather broody bouquet: dark berry fruit and stewed black tea with light, damp earthy aromas percolating through. The palate is medium-bodied with firm tannin that exerts a gentle grip. This feels like quite a masculine Juliénas, quite saline in the mouth but short on the finish.
