Duckhorn Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 2001

We're sorry, but this product is not currently available.

Our Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is layered with fruit that explodes upon first taste with flavors of red currant, cassis, and crème brulée. This vintage is well-balanced with smooth, mouth-filling tannins that will allow it to develop for 7-10 years in the bottle. The aroma has notes of cherry, blackberry, and blueberry with caramel and exotic spice.

Wine AdvocateA fine example of Napa Cabernet, the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa (5,026 cases) possesses a deep ruby/purple color as well as aromas of black currants and licorice, supple tannin, medium body, and a silky texture. It can be drunk now and over the next 5-7 years.

Wine SpectatorSupple and graceful, with ripe plum, black cherry, sage and herbal notes, it's well-crafted, with firm, dense, integrated tannins that veer to dryness. Best from 2005 through 2012. Tasted twice, with consistent notes. 5,026 cases made.
